Pearl and children, Paul Beorn I do not usually talk about other books than mine on this blog, but then I cracked.
Because, like say the youngest of us, this book is too well
.
I do not reveal a word history. Know that it is highly original, exciting at will and it is very difficult not to yield to the temptation to read a page or more chapter. This book devil made me miss my subway descent and is the first time this has happened to me a long time, without abusing the author of suspense and balance of cliffhanger we want you to in-in -Here.
The language is beautiful, rich and inventive. But why I do not write like that? :-(
The characters are really original and captivating and the universe is quite interesting (although perhaps not good enough for my taste).
But first, where this book made me a very foolish, besides the simple pleasure of reading is that I discovered with great delight a writer close to me. The heroes are totally on the side of the property and assume they are terribly human, villains are awful, yet it is far from a Manichean syrupy and boring. Add a tiny touch of eroticism, just enough, and you'll understand that I believe we're here damn near perfect.
In summary, if you liked the Ballad of Fronin, you'll love "The Pearl and the child." And you know what? no? It is a sequel! And it appears next month! It is not life grand?
Ah, the author has a
blog, very interesting ., I can only recommend.
